The Ramblings Of John Campea

Life Beyond The Movies

A Thought On Wealth And

A Thought On Wealth And Christian Maturity
I read a book a few years ago called “The Upside Down Kingdom” by Donald Kraybill. If you’ve not heard of it, I highly recommend you grab it and give it a read. I was going through it again today and this quote just jumped out at me.

“A business venture or a household managed in harmony with Christian principles – honesty and integrity – will likely be successful. But managers and owners who truly allow the rule of God to operate in their lives won’t hoard material gain. They’ll share it in the Spirit of Jubilee. Our material stockpiles may be a barometer of our willingness to follow kingdom principles.”

I think there’s a real lesson in there for all of us.
